Lee Spring will be kicking off 2006 with a collection of new products and updated information for engineers and specifiers of stock compression, die, extension, torsion and disc springs as well as custom designed options.
The company’s spring collection kits range has been restructured and now covers instrument, compression, extension and torsion springs manufactured in either music wire or stainless steel. Supplementing these products are four recently launched ‘Compact Spring Kits’ developed to meet on site needs when engineers need a spring immediately to solve a problem or test a prototype. Available as selections of compression and extension springs in a range of sizes they are offered in music wire or stainless steel materials.
Updated and reprinted copies of Lee Spring’s benchmark reference work the ‘Engineers’ Guide to Designing & Specifying Compression, Extension and Torsion Springs’ will be available free of charge to all visitors. Now in its fourth reprint this publication covers all the critical aspects of spring design, definitions, calculations, tolerances and specification. Data on materials and finishing is included and there is reference information covering wire sizes, conversions, using microns and geometric solutions.
Last but not least callers can collect the latest Lee Spring Stock Spring Catalogue – 10.6 Series. With 132 pages the catalogue is the company’s biggest ever stock spring catalogue and contains information on 10,600 different types of springs from a range that now includes more product lines, more stock and hence, more choice. Standard products such as compression, die, extension, torsion and disc springs plus spring selection kits, are listed and in this issue there is an increased focus on specifying products tailored to meet customers' exact requirements.
