New Compact Spring Kits, designed for those moments when a spring is urgently required to solve a problem or test a prototype, are one of several attention-grabbing developments that can be seen on the Lee Spring stand - No. 730 - at DES 05.
Four different Compact Kit boxes offer a selection of compression and extension springs in a range of sizes. Each box contains different sizes to suit development work, servicing, repairs or maintenance at work or at home for workshop or garage.
New catalogue
Copies of the company’s biggest ever stock spring catalogue, published in June this year, are also freely available. With 132 pages the 10.6 Series catalogue contains information on 10,600 different types of springs from a range that now includes more product lines, more stock and hence, more choice. Standard products such as compression, die, extension, torsion and disc springs plus spring selection kits, are included and in this issue there is an increased focus on specifying products tailored to meet customers' exact requirements.
Round or square wire?
The latest catalogue explains how independent tests carried out by the Institute of Spring Technology (IST), have proven that Lee Spring’s round wire springs have a life expectancy equal to that of rectangular wire die springs and, moreover, they generally cost less.
e-springs
Lee Spring also announced an e-commerce initiative which will soon allow customers to purchase stock springs from Lee Spring on-line. Previously customers could select but not order products via its web pages. The new easy to use e-commerce process will accept credit card payments for stock springs.
Meanwhile the company’s established telephone, fax and email order systems will remain fully intact and Lee Spring is committed to maintaining these options as its premier choice of customer service.
