Most of our compression springs are now available in 316 stainless steel. Springs manufactured in 316 stainless steel offer several advantages over 302 type stainless. Corrosion resistance is greater, especially in chloride environments, purity levels are higher and therefore colour is more consistent. All our 316 springs are ultrasonically cleaned as well as passivated to offer medical and food grade levels of cleanliness.
